During the European Week for Mobility, this 5-steps event gathers every year companies, researchers, start-ups, associations, local authorities : people who acts everyday for a better mobility. The Relais des Mobilités is the first mobile event of this type to raise awareness among mobility issues and highlight the lastest innovations.
The Gyrolift project comes from the idea of Luc Soubielle, president of the association Handipode, who went to the LISV to design an electric wheelchair verticalisateur based on a Segway system. The simple project became a succesful start-up lead by Lambert Trenoras, PhD in robotics the University of Versailles - St-Quentin-en-Yvelines, who made his dissertation about the Gyrolift. A prototype is now being tested.
The commercialization of the Gyrolift is planned to 2018.
Setting up of a new 3-year phase of cooperation in research and innovation around inclusive mobility. The institute located in the town of Sendai becomes a strong international collaborator of the Relais des Mobilités.2017 - 2020
